Laguana 69

After doing the Santa Cruz trek of 3 nights/4 days in the cold mountains, I still wasn't ready to leave Huaraz. I needed more mountains. I pushed my bus to Mancora back a few days so I could do the Lake 69 hike (a very beautiful day hike). I'm glad I did, even if it meant staying 2 consecutive nights on a bus because I need to hurry up my travels a bit.

Mountain Huascaran; the highest peak in Peru @ 22,200 feet

after a rough steep 3 hours, we made it to this beautiful lake

just stunning
